Samrachana Adhikari
I am an (incoming) assistant professor of biostatistics in the Department of Population Health at New York University School of Medicine. I did my postdoctoral fellowship from Department of Health Care Policy, Harvard University, and prior to that, received my PhD in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University.
My substantive research interest includes development of statistical models and efficient computation methods for analyzing complex data, with particular focus on Bayesian latent variable modeling. I am also interested in applying machine learning and statistical models to solve problems in healthcare and education. More on research here.
